Our story

The ground work for our data preparation mission and vision

Our story begins at the birthplace of process mining: Eindhoven University of Technology. It was here that we met and bonded over a shared ambition to create something of our own. By learning directly from the inventors of process mining, we developed a passion for this technology. This passion led us to establish Waves Process Intelligence, our consulting firm in process mining. With Waves, we uncovered millions of untapped potential within our client’s data, making their processes more efficient.

But the road to this efficiency gain was incredibly inefficient: we spent 80% of our time wrestling with poorly documented tables and coding our way to the datasets needed for process mining. While this was an easy way to rack up billable hours, it didn’t ignite the same excitement as uncovering what caused a process to malfunction. We realized there was no quick fix for this tedious, manual data preparation – creating a better solution for just one client was not cost-effective. But then it hit us: what if we could create something that didn’t help just one client, or even all our clients, but thousands of process miners around the world? Our eyes lit up. This is where Konekti began.

On the 5th anniversary of Waves Process Intelligence, we launched the beta version of Konekti to our clients, partners, and friends.

Defining the new data standard

Konekti joins the IEEE working group tasked to design the new data standard for process mining, a necessity to make Konekti work with different tech stacks.

Konekti closes €450k funding round

First investment round by Brabant Startup Fund.

Konekti signs partnerships with leading consultants, such as the renowned SAP-partner McCoy.
